I need help for website

Yeah, so me and :iconnightcomet: are making a website, or more like I'm coding it and doing all the hard stuff while NightComet gives the ideas.

I got everything except for one, and that's where I need your guys help.

I'll try my best to explain. For the gallery, I want to be able to click on the link to a picture and the picture appears, but not in a new window and not under a new URL. If that made no damn sense, then here is an example that I found from :iconloveon:'s site
